Food was stellar in taste and cooked to perfection, the smoke ring was significant, the chicken was moist and flavorful . Service was mehh. Seldom came by to check on us and was terse. Lighting was excellent, noise was ok and was able to hear and be heard.

Good barbecue here in glorida had to go visit. Good portions. Mac cheese nice sweet sauce. Good ribs.

I've eaten here a few times and had also had takeout. I really prefer my ribs, Charleston style and just hand rubbed, but the people I was with, like baby back smothered in sauce, and they really felt that these were the best they ever had. The Mississippi Sweets that I went to the first time was up in Lake Worth, but I must say, I prefer the Federal Highway location. Very nice server and terrific food. A bit too noisy for my taste.But that's not the kind of place you go 22 have an intimate conversation.

Came in looking for good BBQ. We had ribs and Dixie chicken. Both were juicy and delicious. The coleslaw and salad were fresh. The waffle fries were crisp. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is homey. It seemed like most of the patrons were regulars. I can see why. Everything about Mississippi Sweets is welcoming.

Very good bbq, ordered carrot and order was ready in like $15 mins, also price was great. Got. 1/4 spot roasted chicken and green beans and would get that again

Mississippi sweets is one of favorite restaurants for BBQ ribs when we are in Boca Raton. The staff is really friendly and the service is most of the time great. They have amazing bbq chicken and ribs. The chicken is tender and juicy. The ribs were rendered and fall of the bones . They have amazing cornbread, tracker fries and sweet potatoes fries. The meal was amazing . This is a winner

I've been here several times over the years, including with the same girlfriend that I met here for dinner last night. I have a favorite dish and ordered it again. And figuring Yelp still had my previous review, I took not another photo of the same meal I've had here before. Anyhow, I ordered their appetizer of wings and ribs. It's a smaller combo, but quite filling. The ribs are fall off the bone. The 6 wings, I got with medium spice level, well done, and all flats. Both were excellent. And we couldn't resist adding in a basket of their "sweets" -- thinly sliced sweet potato "chips" that as usual, are addictive. Actually took half of my meal home for later. They were packed -- on a Monday night yet -- and we vacated our table early so some folks in the waiting line could sit down. I'd come here again. We had very good service and delicious food -- plus fun company -- so yea, it's a keeper when craving bbq.

I was recently here for dinner with my girlfriend. We were seated immediately at about 5:45-6ish. I really like the wings and ribs combo. Five baby back ribs and five wings. My well done all flats were very good. The baby back ribs were excellent. We added on a side order of their famous "sweets," and I loved them! More than enough to share, and we even had enough to bring some home. If you love sweet potatoes like I do, I highly recommend getting the "sweets," which are sweet potato chips. They are highly addictive and delicious. This is a small restaurant and they were busy. When we left, there was a 45-minute wait. Our server was friendly and efficient. Very nice. Prices have gone up since the pandemic, but what restaurant hasn't? The wing/rib basket used to come with a side, but now they just include some carrots, celery, and a choice of blue cheese or ranch. I was very happy with my dinner and will definitely return at some point. Mississippi Sweets is a casual, low-key family restaurant. Prices are reasonable, and the food is messy but worth it.

Haven't been here in a while, but its just as good as I remembered. Located in a small strip shopping center on Federal Hwy and NE 25th it's super casual and there's plenty of parking. Walk inside and you can watch the chefs cook. Get there early, because there's always a line. Ordered ribs, pulled pork, half bbq chicken and some wings. Everything was exceptional! Sauces were amazing and they have a spicy barbecue that's really good and not on the table, but they will bring it to you. Sides were all good and on point. Don't skip the sweet potato chips...excellent. Highly recommend!
